75% Attendance Calculator
75% means 3 out of every 4 conducted classes. This page starts at that target. It does not mean every college uses 75%.
Target attendance
Your attendance
80.00%
Target: 75%
You're above your target.
32 attended / 40 conducted. Missed: 8. You can miss 2 more classes.
This is the mathematical percentage from the numbers you enter. Your college can also apply condonation, medical leave, practical minimums, subject minimums, exam eligibility, rounding, or exclusions. Those rules are not applied here. Students often call the classes you can miss a bunk limit. It is still just this count.
What 75% means
Percentage = attended ÷ conducted × 100. At 75%, attended is three quarters of conducted. 30 of 40 is exactly 75%. 32 of 40 is 80%, so you can miss 2 more classes (32/42 is 76.19%) and the third miss fails (32/43 is 74.42%).
Minimum attended at 75%
These counts are the smallest whole number of attended classes that still meet 75% if you attend nothing further. They are arithmetic, not a college rule.
| Conducted | Minimum attended | Can miss if you attend the rest |
|---|---|---|
| 40 | 30 | 10 |
| 60 | 45 | 15 |
| 80 | 60 | 20 |
| 100 | 75 | 25 |
College policy is separate
Some regulations use 75% as an exam threshold and also allow condonation in a band below it. Others use 80% or 85%, or a minimum in each subject. This calculator does not apply those rules and does not say that every Indian university requires 75%.
