JNTUH attendance calculator

The calculator does the arithmetic. The rules below are copied from JNTUH regulation PDFs and apply only to the program and regulation named on each block.

What do you want to calculate?

Target attendance

Your attendance

80.00%

Target: 75%

You're above your target.

32 attended / 40 conducted. Missed: 8. You can miss 2 more classes.

This is the mathematical percentage from the numbers you enter. Your college can also apply condonation, medical leave, practical minimums, subject minimums, exam eligibility, rounding, or exclusions. Those rules are not applied here. Students often call the classes you can miss a bunk limit. It is still just this count.

Set the calculator target to the percentage in the regulation that applies to you. This page does not file condonation, count mid-exam credits, or decide exam eligibility.

B.Tech (Regular) · R22

75% Aggregate of all subjects/courses for the semester, including listed mandatory courses (Environmental Science, Constitution of India, Intellectual Property Rights, and Gender Sensitization Lab).

Shortage of up to 10 percentage points (65% and above, and below 75%) may be condoned by the college academic committee on genuine grounds, with a fee. Below 65% in aggregate is not condoned.

  • Two periods of attendance for each theory subject are counted if the student appears for that subject’s mid-term examination.
  • Students whose shortage is not condoned are not eligible for that semester’s end examinations and their semester registration is cancelled.
  • The same attendance requirements apply to B.Tech (LES) under this regulation.

Rounding: not stated in the clauses reviewed.

Source (official-regulation), verified 2026-09-27: Academic Regulations (R22) for B.Tech Regular Students, with effect from 2022-23. Clauses 6.1–6.5. This is the regular B.Tech regulation. It is not the R25 B.Tech rule and it is not the per-subject M.Tech rule.

M.Tech · R22

75% Each theory subject separately, including laboratories and mandatory audit courses. Not a single semester aggregate.

Shortage between 65% and 75%, up to 10%, may be condoned in each subject on medical or activity grounds by the college academic committee. Below 65% in any subject is not condoned.

  • A student under 75% in a subject is not permitted to appear for that subject’s semester-end examination.
  • Detained subjects must be re-registered when offered again.

Rounding: not stated in the clauses reviewed.

Source (official-regulation), verified 2026-09-27: R22 M.Tech Academic Regulations (modified). Clauses 5.1–5.6. Do not describe this as the same rule as B.Tech aggregate attendance.

B.Pharmacy · R25

80% Aggregate attendance of all courses for the semester.

Shortage of up to 10 percentage points (70% and above, but below 80%) may be condoned by the college academic committee. Below 70% is not condoned.

  • Two hours of attendance for each theory course are counted if the student appears for that course’s mid-term examination.
  • The condonation fee is whatever the college notifies. This regulation does not print a rupee amount.

Rounding: not stated in the clauses reviewed.

Source (official-regulation), verified 2026-09-27: R25 B.Pharmacy Academic Regulations. Clauses 6.1–6.4. This is 80%, not 75%.

B.Tech R25: The R25 B.Tech academic regulations PDF on jntuh.ac.in discusses promotion and “fulfilment of attendance requirement” in the sections reviewed on 2026-09-27. Those sections do not state a percentage. R22’s 75% is not copied onto R25. PDF.
